Shipping & Receiving Associate

Main Role: Work with warehouse staff to ensure orders are processed and completed correctly; ensure that the first and last stages in the warehouse are properly handled

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage & receive goods sent to the warehouse; inspect contents to make sure there is no damage
Contact suppliers or carriers if mistakes are identified; record damage or incorrect information for reporting
Store goods information to support inventory control
Prepare and pack outbound packages to ensure accurate and timely delivery of all orders to shipping companies (USPS, UPS)
Check the content and compare it to the information on the warehouse system to verify the accuracy of the incoming or outgoing goods
Ensure all boxes/cartons are clearly labeled to identify the inside and outside
Perform other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

From 2+ years of experience in the position of Shipping & Receiving Associate
Good communication skills
Effective teamwork skills
Good management and organization skills
Attention to detail to ensure control of incoming and outgoing goods
Ability to operate heavy machinery (i.e., forklift, pallet jack, etc.)
